GAMEPLAY
Scrabble Cats Banter is an extremely cool game in which you have to think of a word matching some linguistic constraints, like Scrabble Banter.
Unlike Scrabble Banter, you get bonus points depending on how relevant your word is to CATS!

CAT SIMILARITY???
CAT SIMILARITY awards BONUS POINTS to words which are related to cats.
But how do you quantify CAT SIMILARITY?
We use a word vectorisation algorithm called Word2Vec, developed by Google in 2013.
Words are converted to 300-dimensional vectors and you can use cosine similarity to compare how similar they are.
BATH HACK 2025
This project was originally designed for BathHack 2025 and submitted for BEST DESIGN (due to our amazing hand-drawn art), BEST USE OF AI (for our innovative use of Word2Vec), TECH FOR GOOD (for teaching language and spelling skills), BEST PROOF OF CONCEPT, and MOST TECHNICALLY IMPRESSIVE (because obviously).
Unfortunately we failed to win any of these tracks, nevertheless we sincerely hope you enjoy playing SCRABBLE CATS BANTER!
